Hey, friends! While my wardrobe aesthetic ranges from black to light grey, with some plaid or navy thrown in for good measure, my love for colourful makeup knows no bounds. Whether its blue lipstick or red eyeshadow, I want it on my face. Probably not at the same time, but you never know. Anyhow, I thought I'd dedicate a post to some of my favourite polychromatic beauties, for those wanting to dabble in the rainbow side of cosmetics. Shall we?



First up is an eyeshadow palette which is as beautiful as it is difficult to store, the Kat Von D Mi Vida Loca Remix palette. Unfortunately this bad boy was limited edition, but I'm sure you can find one hanging around on eBay somewhere - and you should because its stunning. Not only is the design gorgeous, the range of colours and quality of the shadows makes this a staple in my makeup collection. I also like to look at it while gently petting it, but that might be just me.



I'd be remiss if I excluded Sugarpill's lovely little products from this post about colourful cosmetics, as they are truly some of the best in the bizz. I've only tried their loose and pressed shadows, but both have impressed me so much that I feel the need to personally advocate for the adorable brand. Love+ (impressively pigmented red), Countess (metallic cranberry), and Lumi (blue-toned white, perfect for the inner corner, oof) are my top picks!




Finally, the Benefit They're Real coloured mascaras are some of the best in the game. They don't flake, nor do they leave you with multi-coloured spider legs for lashes. Beyond Blue is my absolute favourite, though I'm also partial to Beyond Brown for when I'm going for a more natural look. These bad boys are worth every cent, especially if you're looking for a subtle way to introduce some cheeky colour into your eye looks!
